My COUPON*LESS Dept. Store Sales & "Aubreyisms"

I love the fact you can find super cute stuff for a super cute price without having to cut coupons, or deal with crowds on "sale" days.  It looks like the department store clearances are going on right now, so i'd be sure to check out the kid section if you have little ones!
SEARS

My hubby & I snatched up FIVE pairs of shoes recently...for $35! It seems like it is nearly impossible to find a single pair of gym shoes for that price these days, so we are loving this!

In the two local JCPenneys I have been to recently, they have sale racks that are ridiculously just that! haha! I got a Carters outfit for my little guy due in a few weeks for not even 3 dollars, & a super cute vest for the same price.. which was originally $30! Yay mama!

My Aubrey
I've been working on my book of Aubreyisms (my hilarious now almost 5 year old) and so far these memories have been my favorite..

"Mommy lets go to the movie Theodore to see the Chickmunks" (I mean really, how cute and perfect is that?)
"Whats wrong mom?" Me: I just want some peace! "You want a piece of me?"
"Mom, let's do the wanky panky!!" Me: You mean the hanky panky? "uhh...who is Hank?"
"Daddy can you please be quiet you're getting on my NERDS!!" Me: what are nerds? "I don't know, some kind of candy"

<3 <3 <3

I love when little kids are learning songs & they come up with things like "row, row, row your butt. Oops", twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are. up up up up close the why, lime a diamond in the sky, & Mary had a likkle lamb, likkle lamb, likkle lamb, Mary had a likkle lamb, ting ting hown den blow"

Out of all the funny things that come out of my daughters mouth.. the most funny to me is when we went to visit my mom at work.  She works in an office area so we couldn't stay very long...when we were leaving my daughter didn't really understand why she couldn't stay and play with her Mimi so my sister & I were trying to explain to her that she had to work, and that if we stayed and was loud she could get "fired."  We were in front of the "alligator" (elevator) at the time, waiting for it, and she saw one of the signs that are in front of all the elevators of a person running down the stairs with "fire" behind him.

She must have been eye'ing it the entire time because finally when she spoke she was crying and said "she'll get fired just like that boy is?" haha..that will forever be one of my favorite memories of her as a little one! Kids are so funny I love it!!

That's crazy. You got five pair of shoes for 35 bucks. My son, who's 4, has a pair of sneakers that cost 50 bucks. We let the kiddies pick out their own shoes. That may have to change. I'm also a young mom. I have 3 under 4 and I'm only 22. I've also recently started a blog so if you wouldn't mind checking it out that'd be great. HonestlyMe22.blogspot.com
